Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to the most common questions about the DivorceBro app.

Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Download the DivorceBro app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). When you open the app for the first time, you can sign in with your Google account or your Apple ID—no separate password needed.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. DivorceBro offers a free trial so you can explore the app before committing to a subscription. You'll be shown the trial details when you sign up. No payment information is required to start the trial.

What platforms is DivorceBro available on?

DivorceBro is available as a mobile app on iPhone (iOS) and Android. Download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Subscriptions & Billing

How does the subscription work?

DivorceBro uses a monthly subscription billed through your device's app store—Apple App Store for iPhone users and Google Play for Android users. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel before the renewal date.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the app store you used to subscribe:

  • iPhone / iPad: Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, then tap DivorceBro and select Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, select DivorceBro, and tap Cancel.

You will retain access through the end of the current billing period after canceling. We do not process refunds for partial subscription periods, as billing is handled by the app stores.

Can I get a refund?

Because billing is processed entirely by Apple or Google, refund requests must be submitted directly to them:

If you have questions or need help navigating a refund request, email us at support@divorcebro.com and we'll do our best to assist.

I was charged but can't access premium features. What do I do?

First, try signing out of the app and signing back in—this refreshes your subscription status. If you're still having trouble, email support@divorcebro.com with the email address associated with your account and we'll look into it right away.

Account & Privacy

How do I update my profile information?

You can update your profile—including your name, divorce stage, and notification preferences—by going to the Settings screen inside the app.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account in any of three ways:

Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days. Canceling your subscription separately (through the App Store or Google Play) is also recommended to stop future charges.

How is my data protected?

All data is transmitted using TLS/SSL encryption and stored in encrypted databases. We never sell your personal information. For a full explanation of what we collect, how we use it, and your rights, please read our Privacy Policy.

I forgot how I signed up. How do I get back in?

DivorceBro uses Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In—there's no separate DivorceBro password. On the login screen, try both options. If you used Apple's "Hide My Email" feature, make sure you're signing in with the same Apple ID you used to register. If you're still stuck, email support@divorcebro.com and we'll help you recover access.

Technical Issues

The app isn't loading or keeps crashing. What should I try?

Try these steps in order:

  • Close the app completely and reopen it.
  • Check that you have a stable internet connection.
  • Make sure your app is updated to the latest version in the App Store or Google Play.
  • Restart your device.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app (your account data is stored securely in the cloud and will not be lost).

If the problem continues, email support@divorcebro.com and let us know your device model, operating system version, and a description of what's happening.

I'm not receiving push notifications. How do I fix this?

First, make sure notifications are enabled for DivorceBro in your device settings:

  • iPhone: Settings → Notifications → DivorceBro → Allow Notifications.
  • Android: Settings → Apps → DivorceBro → Notifications → Allow.

You can also check your notification preferences within the app under Settings. If notifications still aren't arriving after enabling them, try signing out and back in to refresh your notification token.

I found a bug or have a feature suggestion. How do I report it?

We genuinely want to hear from you. Email support@divorcebro.com with a description of the bug or your idea. For bugs, please include your device type, OS version, and steps to reproduce the issue if possible.
